Out In The Cold Thanksgiving
Tanksgiving is in 11 days. I have not gotten any of the things that I need to get done, done. I have not even gotten my shopping done for my Thanksgiving dinner:( In the mean time, I taught myself how to knit, embroider, and to paint some cute pictures for family and friends. Yet all of my "projects" don't look as though they are good enough to be given as gifts. I see all of these blogs where other really really Talanted women make these awesome things and mine don't look even half as good. I really want to give these "made with love" projects to my family and friends but not at the expense of being the person who gives "ugly" gifts. I want them to know how hard that I have worked on these and that I really wanted to make them look as beautiful as they deserve, but how do you do that when you know that when you give these gifts that they will only be brought out when I am around(if they don't throw them away). I think that if the shoe was on the other foot, I would think that the gift was made with blood, sweat, and tears love. I just hope that I am over reacting and that it will all turn out great! In my defense, I did say that I just taught myself to do these things:)
I hope that all of your preperations are going better then mine and since I am not such a party pooper and that I can still smile behind all of this PAIN. I have a cute printable thanksgiving coloring page for you here.
