Some of you may or may not have seen the new button on my right sidebar. It is a foundation that I support and donate to.
The Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation was founded by Jon and his wife Jill. Jill was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Two weeks after the Jack and Jill Foundation was launched, Jill died at the age of 45, here children were 11 and 13. The Jack and Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation is for families that have a terminally ill parent with cancer.
When you are a child and you find out that your mom or dad has cancer it changes your whole world. They are not only dealing with the fact that their mom or dad is going to die, but they all to often have to watch it happen. Our families don't get a break and that's where the Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation comes in. They offer "WOW" Experiences outside of a hospital, which range from concert tickets, mountain or beach houses, Grammy Awards, theme parks, sports events, and the list goes on. They give families a vacation from the cancer, to make memories that will last a lifetime.
I know that we are all having hardships, but if you could find just a little in your couch cushions, change drawers or your check books to donate, it would help these families especially their children to remember their parents living instead of dying.
