Are You A COVERGIRL?
I am going to be totally honest. I am not very big into wearing makeup. Stop gasping for a second and let me explain. I wore makeup when I was younger but could never get it to look as good as other women/girls that I had seen. Even now, I see ladies with awesome, and I mean awesome makeup.
Well I bought a lot of makeup and wasn't sure what colors to buy, how to apply it and could never get it to look right. I would look in the mirror after just applying my base, eyeliner, eyeshadow and blush. The base was not the right color for my skin tone, the eyeliner made me look like I had racoon eyes, the eyeshadow would be all up in the crease of my eye and the blush? Well I am sure you can imagine.{if not, picture bozo the clown}
After I had my son, I got a littlelazy busy. So I didn't ever wear anything other than mascara. Until I heard about COVERGIRLS SMOKY SHADOWBLAST collection!
You pick your color, if yor not sure, you can get COLORMATCHED based on your complexion. They come in 6 different colors: Onyx Smoke, Silver Sky, Purple Plume, Bronze Fire, Citrus Flair and Tempest Blue.
Now when I first revceived the COVERGIRL SMOKY SHADOWBLAST I would have been absolutely left in the dark on how to apply it and would have probably looked like a street walker. Luckily for me and the rest of the world COVERGIRL put directions on the back of the product on how to use/apply the SHADOWBLAST!
It is double ended with a rounded tip which is to apply the "lighter" color from your brow line to your eyelash line, and the tapered end is in a "darker" color and is applied to the lash line and in the crease of your upper lid.
The awesome thing about the SHADOWBLAST is that you can do a more subtle daytime look and a more dramatic night-time look.
I didn't do the dramatic night-time look, just a subtle daytime;}
COVERGIRL also has SHINEBLAST Lipgloss to match your perfect shade or SHADOWBLAST!
The color that I received in the SHADOWBLAST & SHINEBLAST is the Purlple Plume.
Have you used SHADOWBLAST & SHINEBLAST? If not would you like to and in what colors would you choose? Do you have any tips or tricks that you could share with me about how you apply?
I'll share one with you that I just learnd. Apply a powder to your eyelids before and/or after your apply your eyeshadow and your eyeshadow will stay put!
Here is a video that shows you how to use the products together.
*I am a BzzAgent and was provided with COVERGIRLS SHADOWBLAST & SHINEBLAST for my personal review. The honest opinions expressed are those of my own/ Others may experience different results than mine.*

Perfect! And Vistaprint Photo Book Giveaway
**CLOSED**
I don't know about you, but I have a hard time finding something for my dad for Father's Day. My dad loves golf. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of things out there for golfing, but he either has it, already bought it, or I can't afford it or find it.
I still want to get him something that he will love and that's unlike anything that I have gotten him before.
That's where Vistaprint comes in! Yeah, I know I normally wouldn't think of Vistaprint for a gift, but I definatley won't overlook them again. They have Custom T-Shirts, Personalized Mugs, and when Father's Day is over I am going to head over there for Birthday Invitations.
Look at all of the things that you can get for dad and even have them personalized:
Wouldn't that man in your life love a personalized "look-a-like" tee of the kiddies?
Near or far, Grandpa can see the kids every morning!
What about the lil' girl or lil' girl in us... What girl wouldn't love these invites?
We can't forget about the boys, I know Chucky would love to have a swimmig party and use these!
And we can't skip all of us that are kids at heart!
Thanks to Vistaprint, one lucky Ma21cuteboy reader will win a 12x12 Photo Book for the man in their life! You can choose from a hard cover, leather cover, or linen cover. It includes 26 pages and a variety of layout and design options.

Are You Ready to Be Funkdified?
**CLOSED**
When Chucky and I received Recess Monkey's new CD "The Final Funktier" to review, we were literally blown away! I was cooking dinner and unfortunately wasn't able to sit down with my son and listen to the songs with him. Yet am kinda glad that I wasn't because I could hear him upstairs in his room singing and when I went up to check on him I peeked through the crack in the door and saw him not only singing, but dancing! To me that says a lot about Recess Monkey and their music!
The first time I was able to listen to the CD in it's entirety we were in the car and Chucky quickly flipped it to the song that he wanted me to listen to first, which was "Science Fair." When it ended, I went to change it to the beginning of the CD so we can listen to the whole thing, he got mad at me and flipped it to the next song he wanted me to listen to which was "Beat-Box-a-Robot." I glanced over at him and he was singing and moving to the music.
I didn't think I was listening to children's songs, the music is hip, fresh, fun, very catchy and suited for children and family alike. I am utterly impressed by their talent.

We were also able to review Flute Sweet & Tickletoon in Green Golly & her Golden Flute by Keith Torgan & Barbara Siesel. It is an amazing mix of classical music, story telling and comedy.
A little about Green Golly & Her Golden Flute: {taken from the website}
Green Golly & Her Golden Flute
Rapunzel may have been horrified to spend her days trapped in that big old tower but not Green Golly – she was delighted! So inspired by all that whizzed past her window she couldn’t help but make music. Herein lies the charm of “Green Golly & Her Golden Flute” – this funny and extraordinarily musical event, featuring the music of Mozart, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Gossec, Elgar, Bizet, Chopin and Copland, introduces children to the art of flute and the magic of classical music.“Green Golly” is also available in a version for flute, narrator and full orchestra.
Chucky and I found Green Golly & Her Golden Flute to be fun, funny and very entertaining. I don't know where or how my son became a lover of classical and opera music, but it is just fine with me!
Not only is the story of Green Golly & Her Golden Flute fun, funny and entertaining, so is the story of the creators Barbara Siesel and Keith Torgan. It's a little bit of a fairytale if you will.
Once Upon A Time....
It would be a while before the two would meet and fall in love. They both grew up to be lovers of music, theatre and instruments.
Keith went on from working as a composer at the very much-acclaimed Williamstown Theatre Festival to composing the score fora show starring Blythe Danner{Gwenyth Paltrow's mom} to founding Sneakers, The Music Company for Kids. He then took a 6 year break.
Barbara was playing her flute in concert halls all accross the world such as Alice Tully Hall and Avery Fisher Hall, The Great Hall, and many other halls accross China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Spain. She had such a passion for new music that she created a festical called The Storm King Music Festival where new works by composers could be introduced to the world for the first time. Barbara later realized that she had a natural gift for teaching.
Keith while on his hiatus from music worked at a car lot singing hingles about the cars he was selling and even more clever songs about the customers. Yet the car lot serenades weren't enough to keep him awake at night. One evening he went on a computer dating site and found a women who who had traveled the world making music with her flute. He was so enamered that he requested a meeting.
As they say, it was love at first sight!
They shared their music with eachother and thus is how the performing duo of Flute Swee & Tickletoon came to life.
And They Live Happily Ever After!
If you enjoy reading books with your child, you will absolutely love listening to Green Golly & Her Golden Flute with them. If you would like more information about Keith Torgan & Barbara Siesel's music you can visit their website here: http: http://tugboatmusic.com/
