Between the iPhones, iPads, computers, video games etc. our kids are basically known as the iGeneration.
As a parent of a ten year old son, I am always worried about his education, and even more so when I see him struggling in a certain subject. For some reason no matter what I do to help him, he doesn't get it. I know that I am not the only parent who has a child that struggles in one or more areas of their education. More and more school districts are starting to work with online educators. Some students need help with one or more subjects, or may prefer online schooling to the classroom. That is where Onlineschoolsolutions.com comes in. Aventa Learning is for grades 6-12 and they offer the same type of schooling as in the classroom but with a better approach to your child and the way they learn.
Taken from the website:
A recent survey found that compared to traditional learning environments, online learning is proving to be an effective way in teaching today's "iGeneration" who live in a world of customized and instant feedback. Here are highlights from the survey:
-72% of online students spend three or more hours on homework per week vs. 56% of students in traditional schooling.
-54% of online students get more challenges when they are doing well in school vs. 49% of students in traditional schooling.
-58% of online students get more help when they fall behind vs. 40% of students in traditional schooling.
-Online students have more interest in attending a four year college after graduation than students in traditional schooling. 78% vs. 67%
Aventa Learning is accredited and not only for home-schooled families, but also for those who want to brush up on skills, but also succeed and move on to the next level of their education.
In my review of the program, it was easy to use, I was able to see the instructor and converse with the class when needed. The curriculum is based on your child and your child's needs. In all it was very easy to navigate and operate.
Whether your child is doing good in school or struggles, it's nice to know that there is a place to go to get the help that you need for your child and their education.
